1.2 Contacts Access
Amar Haalkhata requests access to your device's contacts only when you choose to add a customer or shopkeeper from your phonebook. This permission is used exclusively for the following purpose:
- Purpose: To let you quickly select a customer or shopkeeper's name and phone number from your existing contacts instead of typing them manually
- What We Access: Only the contact name and phone number of the contact you explicitly select. We do NOT read, upload, or store your full contact list
- What We Store: Only the specific contact you choose to add as a customer/shopkeeper is saved to your account — nothing else from your phonebook leaves your device
- Optional Permission: This permission is fully optional. You can deny it and still use the app by entering customer/shopkeeper details manually
- No Sync, No Upload: We do NOT sync, scan, copy, or upload your entire contacts list to our servers at any time
- No Sharing: Contact data is never shared with third parties, advertisers, or used for marketing
- Revoke Anytime: You can revoke contacts permission anytime from your device's Settings → Apps → Amar Haalkhata → Permissions
1.3 Transaction Records
- Sales and Purchase Records: Items sold/purchased, quantities, prices, and dates
- Credit/Debit Information: Records of money owed (বাকি) and payments received/made
- Customer/Supplier Lists: Names and contact details of customers and suppliers you add
- Receipts: Digital receipts you generate through the app
1.4 Order and Pre-Order Data
- Product Lists: Items included in orders and pre-orders
- Quantities and Notes: Additional details for order management
- PreOrder Status: Pending, Approved, or cancelled orders
1.5 Voice Recordings
- Purpose: Voice input is used exclusively for creating order lists and recording product details for your convenience
- Storage: Voice recordings are temporarily stored only for processing your orders
- Usage Limitation: Voice data is NEVER used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any other purpose beyond order creation
1.6 Device and Technical Information
- Device Type: Phone model and manufacturer
- Operating System: Android version
- App Version: To provide updates and technical support
- App Usage Data: Features used, crash reports, and error logs (for improving app performance only)

3. What Amar Haalkhata Does NOT Do
- ❌ No Payment Processing: This app does NOT process any financial transactions, payments, or money transfers. All actual payments happen offline (cash, bank transfer, mobile banking, etc.). Amar Haalkhata is purely a record-keeping tool.
- ❌ No Banking Features: We do not connect to bank accounts or store banking credentials.
- ❌ No Data Selling: We NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- ❌ No Voice Data Misuse: Voice recordings are used solely for order creation and are never shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 With Other Users
Your transaction records and account information are shared only with users you manually connect with (customers/shopkeepers you add). They can see:
- Transaction history between you and them
- Credit/debit balances
- Orders and receipts related to your mutual transactions
4.2 With Service Providers
We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the app, such as:
- Cloud Storage Providers: To securely store your data
- Analytics Tools: For app performance monitoring (anonymized data only)

- ✓ Delete Transactions: Shopkeepers can delete individual transactions within 1 hour of creation. After 1 hour, transactions cannot be deleted to maintain record integrity
Note: The app does not currently provide a data export feature. If you need a copy of your data, please contact us at halkhata@bytetrek.com and we will provide it to you within 7 business days.
7. Children's Privacy
Amar Haalkhata is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately, and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will:
